Following my last week post about Lily Lolo Blusher, I thought it will be quite sensible to talk about the bronzer I’ve been also using recently. It’s a very pretty brand, very feminine, the packaging is sophisticated and as you know I love a nice packaging. The brand I’m talking about is Dr Hauschka. I have to say, shopping for bronzer and mascara online not knowing the brand it’s a challenge, but I made it!
I’ve chosen Dr Hauschka Bronzing Powder shade 01 which is actually the only one in that range. It has a form of a baked powder which I prefer and it’s quite pigmented. I don’t use much of it as I don’t want to look too bronzed compare to the rest of my body but It’s very buildable so it will go well with most of the skin tones.
This product is 100% natural, free from PEGs, silicones which clog the pores and synthetic fragrances. It’s mainly based on powders like Silk (Serica) or talc, extracts from natural essential oils like (Carrot) Root or sage and Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499) which are used to add the colour.
The second product I bought from the same brand is Volume Mascara in black (01). Again one of the products I’m bit fussy about. Why? My lashes are long but very thin so if the brush is too dense, it makes my lashes stick together and it doesn’t look good. Unfortunately, I picked the wrong brush and the final effect is a bit disappointing but it will be perfect for thicker lashes.
This mascara smells lovely, stays on fairly long and it doesn’t need to be re-applied. I’m very happy with the overall product (just not the brush). It comes in 3 colours: black, brown and plump. The consistency it’s quite creamy but it drys quickly. The retail price is £21.00.
When I shopped on the official website of Dr Hauschka, for every product in the basket, I got an extra sample to try. Yey !
I’d definitely recommend all the above products and I can’t wait to try more!
Have a lovely weekend you all!
