Getting glowy with juiceBEAUTY

juice BEAUTY Phyto - Pigmented Illuminated Primer

juice BEAUTY Phyto – Pigmented Illuminated Primer

Hello lovely people!

if you read this post, you probably love to try new beauty products as much as me! I’m in the constant search for good brands which will actually do the job. Let’s face it, not everything what’s online nowadays is 100% as great as advertised, I guess you agree with me. I’ve been looking for a good primer and delicate foundation I can use daily. The Jame Iredale Glow Time BB is still in use but I feel like is just a bit too heavy for the summer (full review here). I’ve been using both products now for a while and I’m super happy with the effects, so it’s time to share!

I wanted a primer which will add some glow to my face, illuminate and make me look fresh. Also, I didn’t want to look like a lightbulb so I was looking for delicate and beautiful radiant finish. One of my main focus was on ingredients since the product will cover my face, so the more organic the better.

WHAT I BOUGHT: juice BEAUTY Phyto – Pigmented Illuminated Primer

First of all, it was hard to find it available! I managed to pin one down on eBay and it was the last one. Crazy! The retail price is approx. USD 36 (GBP 26.58).

I use this primer as a base for my make up or on its own just after putting my day ream on. It’s super delicate and makes my face looks really glowy but without strobing effect. It absorbs very quickly and leaves the skin moisturised which is crucial for me. I put either on all over or selectively on my nose or cheeks. It will be perfect for a tanned skin to use it on its own.

The final effect is very natural due to the lack of silicones. Silicones do add to products that smooth and silky feel we all love and create the even cover on the skin but It also feels sometimes like a mask so I tried to avoid that.

My second buy is a foundation.

WHAT I BOUGHT: Dr Hauscha Foundation (colour: chestnut)

Dr Hauschka Foundation 03 Chestnut

Based on mineral pigments with nourishing botanical ingredients such as pomegranate, macadamia nut oil and coconut oil

Well, ladies (and gents) we all need sometimes that bit of that extra touch, don’t we! I wanted a foundation which will be nearly invisible, light and will be nicely absorbed by my skin without leaving dry patches. I’m going here for a natural look.

Dr. Hauschka Foundation

Dr. Hauschka Foundation

This is already the 4th product I bought from this brand and they don’t disappoint.  I went for “chestnut” as it nicely compliments my skin also giving a little colour.  This is not a foundation to put all over the face! It absorbs so quickly that the only way to apply it by tapping the product into the skin!

This foundation combines mineral pigments with nourishing botanical ingredients such as pomegranate, macadamia nut oil and coconut oil to hydrate the skin. It’s 100% natural and organic, free from synthetic fragrances, preservatives, mineral oils, silicone and PEGs.

I’ve also had a chance to try the same foundation in shade “macademia” which will be perfect for lighter skin tone. Both products require the skin to be in the pretty good condition and neither of them is buildable.
