I’ve realised recently that the older I get the less make up I wear. I don’t know if that’s the sign of ageing and feeling more confident in my own skin or just a pure laziness, in fact probably a bit of both. I would say, I spend more on my skincare products than actual makeup which is a complete opposite of what I would do 10 years ago. What I wanted to share this week is my ultimate makeup “no makeup” looks, products I’m using and what I think about Glossier.
So, I’ve ordered the Cloud Paint blush in shade called “Puff”, concealer in shade “light” and lipstick in. All the products came in the bubble makeup case which will be perfect for storing my makeup.
The Cloud Paint blush in shade “Puff” is very pink and creamy. I dubbed the product on to my cheeks (like on the photo below) and made sure is equally spread. The final effect is really subtle and delicate. I’ve never used the cream blush before but I feel converted now. It gives that ” no make” look and very natural blush.
CLAIMS: hypoallergenic, dermatologist-tested, paraben free, fragrance-free, cruelty-free
The second product is the GENERATION G lipstick in shade called “Crush”. I was a bit hesitant at first as it looks dark but the actual tone is very girly and not overpowering. It’s buildable and can be worn all the long… with that extra layer for the evening date! It doesn’t dry my lips which is very important and stays on for a longer period of time. Even after a few hours, I have a delicate raspberry colour on.
CLAIMS: hypoallergenic, dermatologist tested, paraben free, fragrance-free, cruelty-free, vegan
The last one is the STRETCH CONCEALER. I got it in shade “light” as I’m pretty pale most of the time. It comes in the little glass jar and I apply it with my fingers. It’s very creamy and it definitely has moisturizing properties. It’s easy to apply. I’ll be very honest here, I’m still not sure about the final effect. It does make the under eye area look a bit lighter but the overall coverage could be better. I still like it and I’ll definitely keep using it. It’s a perfect makeup “no make” product!
There is a lot of goodies in that concealer like avocado and jojoba, cocoa butter, beeswax and adaptable mineral pigment.
Claims: hypoallergenic, dermatologist-tested, ophthalmologist tested, non-comedogenic, paraben free, fragrance-free, cruelty-free
Overall verdict: VERY GOOD!
Can’t wait to try some products from their skincare and makeup range. I like that all the products I’ve tried so far are very delicate and can be used for any occasion. Below my “no makeup” makeup look done with Glossier products only (and my favourite mascara)!
Have a lovely weekend!
