Best Sugar Scrub Ever ! by The Somerset Toiletry Company

Hello lovely reader,

Summer is officially over and I’ve already undusted my autumn/ winter suitcase full of cosy jumpers and fluffy socks. I love autumn for its colours, a bit nostalgic atmosphere and those evening on the couch with Netflix in the background, who doesn’t! It’s also a good time to get lazy and forget about scrubbing and exfoliating which I’m the best example of.

You might not know but I’m a massive fan of all sorts of scrubs. I love making them and buying them. My favourite ones are the ones including coffee, sea salt or sugar as I find them the most effective, a few reviews and recipes are available on my blog.

Tropical Fruits Sugar Scrub

This time I want to present the peeling which I’ve been using most of the summer and this is already the second jar. The name of the company is The Somerset Toiletry Company and they offer body care products, hand care and fragrances. They also do this amazing scrubs I’ve been obsessed with for the past few months!

So far I’ve used the Grapefruit&Orange and Strawbrry&Papaya. The formula is based on sugar which I think it’s one of the best bases for scrubs. It gently exfoliates and smoothes the skin. It dissolves very quickly leaving the skin super soft and hydrated. I use it on the dry skin for the better effect.

The product is not categorised as organic due to hyaluronic acid, glycerine or silicon as part of the formula. However, is also infused with chamomile flower extract, cucumber and nettle extract, chlorella vulgaris ( algae) and aloe leaf extract. Paraben free, SLS free, cruelty-free.

The price is GBP 6.95 per 550 g. which makes it very affordable.

Hope you’ll enjoy it as much as I do!

Love xxx
